ONOS Access — How to Register

The B.C. Gupta Memorial Central Library, Gurucharan University is now registered on the One Nation One Subscription (ONOS) platform, granting students, research scholars and faculty members access to a vast collection of high-quality academic e-resources, e-journals and research databases at no additional cost.

  1. 1Register yourself with the Central Library using your institutional/registered email address and university ID.
  2. 2The Central Library verifies your details and forwards them to INFLIBNET.
  3. 3On successful verification, INFLIBNET sends an email to your registered address for password activation and account setup.
  4. 4Activate the password and complete the account setup to start accessing ONOS e-resources.

Gupta Memorial Central Library holds a collection of over 43,500 books along with e-journals through ONOS and a growing bouquet of open access resources. Our endeavour is to place every one of these resources within easy reach of our students, research scholars and faculty members. Who is eligible for library membership?

All enrolled students, research scholars, teaching and non-teaching staff of Gurucharan University are eligible. Submit the filled membership form with a passport photograph and a copy of your ID card at the circulation counter.

How many books can I borrow and for how long?

Borrowing limits and loan periods depend on your membership category. Please contact the circulation desk for the current category-wise rules.

How do I access the ONOS e-journals?

Register with the Central Library using your institutional email and university ID. After verification and INFLIBNET activation, you can access ONOS e-resources according to the current campus access policy.

What is the overdue charge?

Overdue charges are governed by the library's current rules and regulations. Contact the circulation desk for the applicable rate.

How do I get a plagiarism similarity report?

Contact the library research support desk for the current submission workflow and UGC-aligned similarity-check guidance.
